On August 30, 2012, Skip Miller passed away from complications of a heart attack he suffered several days earlier. He leaves behind his wife, Suzanne, and two beloved stepchildren, David and Kelly, whom he loved and cared for as if they were his own. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to this fund to assist with funeral and other related medical and living expenses.
Due to the serious health issues that Skip, Suzanne and their children suffered throughout the years, including Cancer (Skip), Lupus (Suzanne), Asperger's Syndrome (David), there are simply no assets and no life insurance available to help the family financially at this time. Suzanne, for several months, has been working dilligently to create a stream of income for the family and she has several prospects. However, until that happens, the family is in financially dire straits.
You see, Skip was the beneficiary of a living trust which is how the family was able to make ends meet month after month. However, now that Skip is gone, the money from the trust will cease.
Suzanne is the strongest Christian woman I know and she is relying solely on God during this time to provide for her family. For next month's bills, she is planning on selling her wedding ring. The cremation is $600 and one of Skip's friends had committed to paying for it, but has since backed out.
When I asked her if I could start this site for her, it was extraordinarily difficult for her to say yes. But so many people love her and want to help.
